What adults can do…

The brotherhood of Scouting is dedicated to the commitment to building strong moral, physical and mental character in today’s youth. It is also a non-profit organization whose funding comes from annual membership fees, generous donations and fundraising efforts. The success of the Scouting program relies on volunteer leadership and strong program activities. Do your part! Become actively involved in helping to shape the lives of today’s young people by volunteering as a Scout leader in your town or by making a donation to your local Council. A little effort goes a long way in Scouting!

In Support of Scouting

Each year, the Monmouth Council, Boy Scouts of America serves nearly 8,000 youth in Monmouth and Middlesex Counties. To manage the daily operations to enhance the delivery of services to these youth, the council maintains an annual operating budget of approximately $2.5 million. Funds must be identified to address current activities, grow new programs and serve an ever-growing, diverse pool of youth from across the region. This year, we estimate it will take over $156 to foster the mental, physical and moral values of one youth. We need your support and commitment to help us continue to develop bold new activities that attract and retain youth. To find out how you can help, please click on one of the topics listed below.
