District Commissioner Meeting

What is a Commissioner? An experienced Scouter that volunteers to serve as a resource to help Scouting units achieve success. We need more commissioners and have many units that can use your guidance. Join us the first Thursday of every month (September – June) at 7 p.m., New Jersey Blind Citizens Association, 18 Burlington Rd., Leonardo, NJ 

District Committee Meeting

What is the District Committee? A group of Scouting volunteers and leaders who work together to develop and carry out successful annual programming for the Twin Lights District. This includes activities, awards, events, training, camping, membership, marketing, finance and more. We want your input and hope you will share your talents as a committee member to help our district grow.
Join us the fourth Monday of the month (August – June) from 7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m., VFW Route 36; Port Monmouth, NJ.

Fishing Derby 2017

Prizes for the smallest, largest and most fish caught!

Open to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers, Explorers, Scouting families, and friends.
Bring your own Fishing Pole & Bait, and a bag lunch.

A fishing license is required for anyone over 16 years of age per New Jersey state law.

OceanFirst Foundation Challenge – Quail Hill Bill Bishop Memorial Pavilion

Help Quail Hill win the OceanFirst Foundation Challenge and add a new program pavilion at Quail Hill Scout Reservation in Manalapan, NJ in honor and remembrance of a recently fallen dedicated scouting volunteer.

We need your help to raise the most money and win the OceanFirst 20th Anniversary Charity Challenge. Every donation makes all the difference so please click here and give what you can.

Proceeds will go towards a new program pavilion at Quail Hill. Preliminary plans include a concrete slab, green aluminum roof, and enough space for 15 picnic tables.

Early Bird Cost: $10 per child through 6/28 Regular Fee $13 per child through 7/12 or Walk-in Fee: $15 per child. No fee for adults.

Camp Card and Career Card Sale 2017

Once again, Monmouth Council is offering the Camp Card sale as a fundraiser to units and Scouts. This year, the sale has expanded to offer Career Cards, as well, for our Explorers. This sale is a great opportunity for Scouts and Explorers to help cover costs associated with summer camp, trips, and trainings. These coupon booklets feature retailers such as Olive Garden, Modell’s and Shoprite. The sale will run from February 1st until June 30th.
